Are you a passionate Accountant, looking for an exciting new role?
Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Accountant to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their Sales team.
As our Accountant, you
will be preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets,
cash flow and income statements. Managing accounts payable and accounts
receivable processed as well as assisting in budget preparation and financial
forecasts. You will also be identifying trends, variances and opportunities for
improvements through thorough financial analysis.
Principle Responsibilities for the Accountant:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Utilize accounting software (Sage and Qw ) to perform daily tasks
- Any Ad-hoc duties
Person specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field would be desirable
- CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience in financial accounting or related roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
- -Ability to converse with all levels of personnel.
- -Minimum accounting experience 2 years (preferred)
This is a full-time permanent Accountant position, 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 4.30pm Friday, offering an annual salary of £32000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
