Are you a passionate Press Setter Operator looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Press Setter Operator to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Blackpool.

We are looking for someone who can work on their own as well as occasionally within a team who has experience working in an engineering sheet metal production environment. You will be working on a variety of CNC Flatbed lasers and punch presses.

Principle Responsibilities for the Press Setter Operator:

  • Operating a range of machinery to produce custom made sheet metal products
  • Working as part of a wider manufacturing team to fulfil customer orders.
  • Quality checking all completed work to ensure sheet metal production is completed to a high standard.
  • Working off engineering drawings.

Person specification: –

  • Previous experience working within an engineering or sheet metal production team.
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Practical awareness of lean manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Trumpf and Mazak machinery ( desirable )

This is a full time permanent Press Setter Operator position, working a 37 hour week Monday to Thursday ( Friday will be paid at overtime ), offering an hourly salary of between £12 – £14.50.
